We provide our integration products and services to our Housing customers via our sister company Manifest Software Solutions. We are experts at finding the best ways to integrate systems. We use the latest tools including Microsoft Azure integration tools and our own Universal Adapter scripted integration toolkit. This combination of tools and skills allows us to seamlessly integrate Cloud based and on-premise applications. Our technology and experience allow us to integrate solutions from all the big Housing software suppliers, asset systems, finance applications, mobile platforms, scheduling solutions, contractor systems, document management software, self-service portals and much more. The recent inclusion of IoT connectors to the Universal Adapter means we can provide enterprise wide integration that can even monitor the condition of all our customer’s properties. Job Summary You will join a small team of technical implementers that work closely with our customers to understand their integration needs. You will then use integration tools to design and implement robust, fully documented solutions. It doesn’t stop there; we continue to work closely with our customers helping support the integration and ensure the smooth running of the solutions. You will be part of a close-knit supportive team headed up by the Implementation Team Leader. You will also have direct access to the Technical Director who is responsible for all software development and Azure products. This ensures you always have access to the resources and support you need. You will be given the opportunity to learn new technologies used in the world of integration; exploring web services and other technologies that will help you deliver powerful, robust solutions. Our implementers collaborate throughout the day on projects and regular team calls ensure that, whilst having the convenience of working from home, you will feel the support of working as part of an office-based team. Main Duties and Responsibilities To investigate and document the customer’s integration requirements To carry out technical investigations to allow you to design a robust integration solution Install and implement the Universal Adapter (and other Blaze products) Develop Universal Adapter scripts that meet the customer’s requirements Project manage the implementation process To keep customers, managers and directors regularly informed of progress To work closely with other members of Blaze To help with providing customer support To suggest improvements to Blaze products and services Take all reasonable precautions when working on customer systems; taking backups, virus scans, protecting data To develop your own skills and knowledge through research and learning To carry out any other duties that may be required from time to time appropriate to the post and grade Key Skills and Experience You will have a friendly personality and enjoy helping people. This will be coupled with good technical skills and a good understanding of some of the IT systems used in Housing. You will be self-motivated enjoying the satisfaction of seeing solutions you helped design and implement successfully. You will most likely have worked in an IT support or implementation role in Housing. Your experience will include one or more of the following: Writing SQL queries Writing basic scripts in something like Python or similar Programming or customising systems Installing software Implementing Housing software solutions Business/systems analysis Project management IT support of Housing systems We also encourage enthusiastic people who want to learn new skills.
