We are seeking a Scheduler to join our friendly, efficient In House Maintenance team which provides a repairs and maintenance service for occupied and void properties throughout Somerset. We currently have approximately 30 Technicians working to maintain our properties. Our office is based on a working farm in a rural setting.  We are a close knit team with a real sense of team spirit. We pride ourselves on customer service and deal with emergencies daily.  This requires flexibility in the working day to ensure the welfare and safety of our residents. In this key role you will manage technician diaries ensuring value for money and non productive time is minimised. You will also ensure all Health and Safety information is supplied to Technicians and Subcontractors prior to appointments. Further to this you will monitor performance targets ensuring they are met and you will liaise with subcontractors, raising orders and reviewing work in progress. We are looking for a proactive individual who can cope with changing priorities in a busy environment and someone who can remain focused and positive in an emergency situation. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be speaking directly with our customers and technicians booking appointments and juggling priorities to ensure all operational and customer service targets are met. You will also travel occasionally to other Somerset Partnership Sites. You will receive regular case management sessions to support your resilience to remain working in what can be at times, a traumatic experience.   You’ll work with health staff and train them to be able to support and empower their patients, so you will have a good understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on individuals.  You will be able to work autonomously and liaise with patients and various health teams in a calm and informative way.   SIDAS works with perpetrators as well as the victims of domestic abuse and we are looking to recruit someone who has an unbiased approach and is able to give appropriate advice and support.   The Hospital areas you will work in will include A & E and maternity and you will need to be able to maintain composure under pressure and ensure that appropriate strategies are adopted to ensure personal resilience and a professional client-led service is delivered.

The support is aimed at helping people find their advantages in life while they move on to living independently, with the skills and understanding of how to do that and maintain their resilience. How we work This position is field based. We have several touchdown points across the Bristol/South Gloucestershire locality. Our head office is in Weston-Super-Mare. Are you an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, looking for a new challenge? If so, please read on. Working predominantly across Somerset, you will be responsible for undertaking Asbestos surveys in our properties. This will include contacting customers’ and arranging appointments to visit their homes in order to undertake both Asbestos ‘Management’ and ‘Refurbishment and Demolition’ Surveys in an electronic format. Some Asbestos Re-inspection may also be undertaken from time to time. The information collected during the surveys is used to ensure that Liverty is compliant and to create planned programs of investment works. You will need to be highly organised, methodical and flexible. Using your people and technical skills you will be responsible for generating asbestos reports on a mobile device while inside our residents’ homes and communal areas of blocks. Excellent customer services skills are also essential. You will be site based (in the Somerset area) but required to attend regular meetings at any of Liverty’s offices. Due to the nature of these roles, a full driving licence is essential.
