They’re looking for somebody with a proven track record in business intelligence solutions design with SQL reporting tools to join their busy Business Intelligence team at a senior level due to internal promotion. This role requires someone who can work both from home and from their Hampshire based office.

Your main responsibilities as Business Intelligence Lead will be to develop and implement a streamlined business intelligence and reporting function for this large-scale business for multiple business areas. You will be required to manage their business intelligence solutions and data warehouse, develop the reporting toolkit and roll out training to users so they can be self-sufficient, alongside developing and maintaining a catalogue of reports, support data quality checks, automate the production of KPIs including live dashboards, and champion a support service for the Intelligence team to the wider business.

Essential experience:

  • Commercial experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Specialist
  • Experience of the full SQL toolkit, and ideally experience of Power BI
  • Demonstrable experience taking functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications
  • Manipulation of large data sets
  • Understanding of data sourcing, management and data quality checks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to think ‘outside of the box’
  • High-level coding
  • Data migration and systems integration would be highly advantageous for this role
