This vacancy is for an Accounts Payable Finance Assistant.  The successful applicant will join a team providing an efficient and effective Accounts Payable service for PCH. You will do this by working in a positive manner with both colleagues and suppliers alike. You must be able to show genuine commitment to providing a high quality of service and support across the organisation and suppliers as required.

We require someone who:

  • Has Accounts Payable experience
  • Has sound knowledge of double entry book keeping
  • Has an understanding of the issues faced by social housing tenants or experience of customer services.
  • Is good with people, and can work well as part of a team and also on own initiative
  • Has good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Can work accurately in a fast paced environment whilst adhering to procedures and regulations
  • Is proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and email
  • Has flexibility in approach and willingness to work as directed by managers
  • Is adaptable to changes in working practices and spots better ways of working
