About The Role

We are looking for a Business Improvement Project Manager to join our exciting IT & Digital Services department. This is a busy and varied role which oversees multiple activities at any one given time. The projects are varied from IT to Housing best practice projects. However all projects contribute to the delivery of our new corporate plan. You will need possess significant experience of the processes required to deliver multiple projects and the skills and abilities to execute these processes. You will have full input through the project life cycle from the creation of the Business Case all the way to Post project review.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • To Ensure project requirements and outputs are agreed, and that benefit realisation is managed.
  • To Ensure the appropriate and relevant level of testing is in place for all projects e.g. systems with appropriate and relevant sign-off.
  • To Analyse and define the scope of each project, highlight risks, critical success factors, project team structures and roles and responsibilities.

About you

You will be:

  • Have strong organisation and administration skills.
  • Have clear and confident communication and presenting skills.
  • Have good time management and project management skills.
  • Experiences of being a business partner and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience of prioritisation models and working with business to determine appropriate project prioritisation.
  • Experience with a range of computer systems and databases.
