They’re looking for somebody with proven project management experience from within a local government or social housing setting to join them on an exciting technology journey. This is a permanent opportunity and offers vast majority home working with some limited requirement to attend head office in Central London from time to time.

Your main responsibility as IT Project Manager will be to manage the delivery of a range of system and application IT projects using a mixture of in-house BAU and third-party supplier resource. You will also be responsible for budgets and change management, governance, suppliers & internal stakeholders, contract negotiation, coaching and documentation.

Essential experience:

  • Commercial experience working as an IT Project Manager on systems and technical projects from within a social housing or local authority environment
  • Managing internal BAU resource for projects
  • Solid governance experience and knowledge of sector specific governance frameworks
  • Change management
  • Business case development
  • Budget management
  • Documentation management
  • Internal stakeholder and third-party supplier management experience
