We are currently recruiting for a Workplace assistant to support in the effective operation and delivery of the Workplace service. Our Workplace service is broad people focussed service, delivering hard and soft facilities management, safe workspaces, supporting colleagues working with technology and ensuring we always have flexible, exciting inclusive places to work. The service is a key contributor to our strategic priority of Safe & Happy Colleagues.
You will deliver a broad range of administrative functions that assist the Workplace service, carried out in an accurate, effective and efficient way, to meet the highest possible customer service and safety standards.
Day to day administrative tasks may include, but not limited to, working with data, report creation, data presentation, financial reconciliations, document creation and storage, contract administration, job transactions, carrying out inspections, audits and liaising with contractors. You will also work closely with the Workplace Manager in preparing, auditing, designing and delivering a wide range of services.
This is a varied role and will require you to be flexible to meet the changing needs of the Workplace service and its customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating and supporting an exciting place to work, is self-motivated with excellent organisation skills and confident in dealing with people, data, spreadsheets and computerised systems.
The role will be office based, sometimes lone working, primarily at our offices in Bridgend, to provide on the ground workplace support to all building users. It may also require travel to other sites and locations as required by the role.
