We are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Roofer to effectively and efficiently undertake general maintenance roofing works, including but not limited to large scale pitched roof refurbishments, flat roofing and chimney stack demolitions on Valleys to Coast housing stock and other properties.
Working independently or as part of a team, you will ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with existing legislation and the company’s policies and procedures.
The right candidate will have a NVQ in roofing or carpentry and be able to demonstrate previous experience in at least two other trades, ideally working within a housing maintenance environment. Ideally you will have experience in asbestos removal of under cloak, shed roofs and soffits. This includes Cat B asbestos training (Non-licensed) or a willingness to work towards it.
This role will require you to be available and respond promptly to emergency call outs on a rota’d basis as and when required. You will also need a full driving licence, preferably with minimal or no endorsements.
