We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Benefits Analyst to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) function on a two-year fixed term basis.
This is an new role within the team where you will be supporting the Director of PMO and a variety of departments across the group, in the identification, documentation and realisation tracking of benefits associated with projects and programmes.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we embark on a series of projects and initiatives. You will be working with stakeholders on each initiative to understand the nature of the business case and the financial and non-financial benefits to be delivered and providing analytical support as needed to define and track benefits.
You will also be gathering, analysing, and presenting back you findings to the Senior Leadership and Executive team and will influence processes to achieve best value for the Group and our customers.
Some things we need from you
A relevant qualification (Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent experience in business / benefits analysis.
A minimum of two years’ experience in an equivalent finance, PMO or strategy role as Financial, Business or Project Analyst.
Understanding of a finance function and its processes including reporting & monitoring, financial control, budgeting and forecasting, benefits management, and realisation etc.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly complex environment and develop a comprehensive understanding of strategic objectives and challenges.
Exposure to business case preparation and benefits realisation
Considerable experience using Excel and / or PowerBI reporting tools as an analyst, backed-up by excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proven ability to understand, interpret, simplify, and present statistical data
Strong data interrogation techniques and experience of working with models and/or complex spreadsheets
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices for infrequent meetings when required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester. Any required travel will be reimbursed in line with the current inland revenue mileage rates.
