Permanent Business Intelligence Business Development Data Analysis/ Management Information Technology

Job Description

Housing and Communities are moving through notable change and improvement with the aim of delivering transformational and effective services for our customers, which are ‘fit for the future.’

You will be an integral part of a dynamic Business Development and Change Team focused on supporting the achievement of service and Council priorities for improved or new services, policies, and digital products.

This is a key role because you will be the service area expert in ICT systems, processes, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. You will use this expertise to support your colleagues in driving the service forward. You will proactively collect, analyse, monitor, and regularly report on data to inform the service area of its position, and identify areas for customer service improvement and transformation.

It is essential that you have experience of extracting information from databases, analysing and reporting on that data. It is expected you will have 2-3 years’ experience of working within an IT or data support environment and have an understanding of SQL report writing.

You will be someone with good interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex data in ways that are adapted to, and understandable by all stakeholders.

The intention is for this jobholder to work from home. However, office and hybrid working is also available. Whilst home working is offered as part of this role, it is a requirement of the role that the successful candidate be available to attend meetings at our offices in Royal Leamington Spa when required.  Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Paul Smith, Business Development and Change Manager for Housing and Communities, on 01926 456402.
