The Vacancy

The Role

With this role comes the responsibility for the successful delivery of NCHA planned projects programme. Delivering an outstanding customer focused service, in line with NCHA’s vision, of “More Homes, Great Services, Better Lives” our “Value for Money Strategy” and “Environmental Sustainability Strategy”.

Can you do this?

  • Assist with the procurement of services and undertake contract management
  • Implement our strategies in business as usual
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Recruit, induct and develop colleagues; promoting team work and support change management
  • Support planned services to meet or exceed relevant service standards and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements to include (but not limited to) Planned, Capital, Health and Safety, Technical inspections and surveys

What do you need to know?

  • You will hold a HNC/ NVQ Level 4 in Building or associated discipline plus substantial post qualification experience working in either a Construction or a Maintenance environment.
  • Hold a SMSTS or equivalent qualification
  • Have good working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulation, Asbestos and all other related Building Regulations
  • Confident reading and interpreting performance and financial information with the ability to prepare timely reports
  • Successful track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships

Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role. This role is eligible for essential car user allowance.

Hours and location

This role offers flexible hybrid working, with 35hrs per week worked between 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. The central office for this role is based in Bulwell, Nottingham, However, it has excellent transport links and is just off from the M1 so would be suitable to someone wanting to commute from further in the East Midlands.
