Infrastructure Project Manager

Lioness Recruitment – Careers Handled with Care. A respected public sector organisation are looking for somebody with experience of delivering IT infrastructure projects including cloud migrations. This is a minimum 6 month contract with majority remote working and one day per week required on site in Hampshire.

Your main responsibility will be to project manage moving the organisation's co-location data centre to a cloud based solution and an organisation-wide network project including internet connectivity, Security and Disaster Recovery. You will also be responsible for budgets, change management and assessing new technology and its relevance to the organisation in terms of performance and cost and have a significant position in managing external managed service providers.

Essential:

• Proven track record of IT project management including full life cycle projects
• Be able to multitask and work on multiple projects at different stages of the product and project life cycle
• Experience of cloud-based hardware deployments.
• Solid understanding of front and back end cloud-based applications
• Be able to successfully manage end-to-end delivery of software/IT projects
• 3rd party supplier and stakeholder management
• Project management certification such as Prince2, MSP etc
