We are looking to recruit a Surveyor to provide a professional and technical service whilst ensuring a customer-centred approach is maintained at all times.
Your building pathology knowledge will be used to carry out detailed investigations on site, assisted by using the latest surveying technology to produce survey reports that will inform appropriate repairs. The survey reports will also be used by our colleagues in Asset Management to evidence works in future option appraisals.
You will assist in maintaining a risk based inspection for all Valleys to Coast owned assets, satisfying Valleys to Coast’s obligations in relation to public health & safety and minimising potential liability claims.
In addition to undertaking technical survey work, you will provide detailed works specifications, compliance with CDM and managing contractors on site to ensure the work is delivered the expected quality, cost and programme.
Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships are a crucial part of this role.
