Scrum Master

A large, technologically transforming RSL are looking for an experienced and certified Scrum Master to join their technology and transformation team on a consultancy basis to support delivery of specific projects. This is an initial 6 months contract and offers majority remote working with approximately one day per week required working from offices based in Hampshire.

You will be responsible for leading two new scrums which are forming in the core technology programme focussing specifically on data & infrastructure streams. You will use tools to plan, review and progress ways/methodologies of working to ensure the most successful continuous improvement and cohesion for your teams.

Essential Skills:

• Solid experience as a Scrum Master within technology focussed teams - either as a standalone role or as a large part of another
• Demonstrable knowledge of Scrum values such as: facilitation, servant leadership, situational awareness, empowerment, continual improvement, conflict resolutions etc
• Patterns and techniques for the Scrum approach such as: burndown technologies, retrospective formats etc
• Knowledge of other Agile methodology (Kanban, Crystal, DSDM, FDD, Lean, SAFe)
• Agile techniques (User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing)
• Understanding of project management methodologies
• Exceptional mentoring/leadership and communication skills to wide audiences
• Experience of working on data or cloud infrastructure projects specifically would be highly advantageous for this role
