About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Services Team as a Business Analyst responsible for the development, collation and analysis of data and performance reporting across the organisation. To ensure that all data is correct & accurate and to play a key role in encouraging and supporting teams in the use of data to drive forward service improvements across the organisation.

 

As a Business Analyst you will develop and maintain processes for gathering, validating and analysing performance information relating to corporate plans/strategies, key policies and standards, service effectiveness and service risk.  You will also be responsible for identifying performance monitoring gaps, clarifying the implications of gaps, and make recommendations as to how the gaps should be addressed, as well as collect, validate and analyse a wide range of quantitative and qualitative data from both internal and external sources to support the planning and performance of work priorities throughout the organisation.

 

You will oversee the checking of departmental workflow and procedures to make sure they are up to date and tested.  This role also involves performing data checks to make sure all the information contained in IT systems is correct, current, relevant, and accurate.  You will be in charge of carrying out routine GDPR related duties like keeping the Subject Access Request and Data Breach registries up to date.

About you

The post holder will need to be experienced in data/information analysis, as well as experienced in writing reports for a wide range of audiences, with the ability to communication and present complex data to allow informed decisions to be made.

You will have strong accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in data validation and analysis and have the ability to build links with other departments to understand performance needs.  An understanding of GDPR regulations that relate to Subject Access Requests is also required.

You will have advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly in Excel and basic knowledge of Power BI.  The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while achieving set deadlines is also a requirement for this role.
