Job Description

Due to the continuing growth at Inprova and a clear strategy to develop a technology and data enabled procurement business, we have a newly created position for a Product Manager.

As Product Manager you will be responsible for the on-going development and product lifecycle of our customer facing portal – Quantum. 

Quantum is a portal solution that enables customers to access a selection of procurement tools, data and insight with the goal of improving visibility, transparency and control of spend, improving value for money and operational performance. 

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the business and lead the roll-out of the existing platform to our entire customer base, extend across multiple spend category areas, set the product development strategy and commercialise our offer across existing and new sectors.  Having a pivotal role and being engaged with customers, suppliers, IT and operations you will require an entrepreneurial mindset, great communication skills and be able to set a clear vision – positioning Quantum as a key point of differentiation and value in the eyes of our customers.

You will need to develop deep customer relationships and have a clear understanding of how procurement and procurement analytics can drive transformational value.  Listening, analysing and identifying how our technology and data environment can integrate with our services, suppliers and customers and create value through savings, efficiencies and operational performance improvements will be critical in the role.

The role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.  You must be a self-motivated individual with drive and determination to effectively manage your own workload to achieve outstanding results for our customers.

Skills and experience

  • Technology and data related product management skills
  • A sound understanding of the value of procurement and how technology and data can drive value would be a benefit
  • Strong project and programme management skills
  • A knowledge and awareness of technology product development lifecycle process
  • The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, in particular customers, listen and interpret concepts and ideas and craft them in to clear product development proposals
  • The ability to engage with customers, external third parties, procurement experts and technology teams
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and build strong networks with decision makers
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management, time management and organisational skills
  • Confident and clear communicator
  • Strong presentation skills
