Job title: Infrastructure and Network Manager
Salary: Circa £50,000 with some flexibility for the right candidate
Location: L11 2SF (Hybrid)
This is a new and exciting role in which the post-holder will have a significant influence on the future state of the whole Organisation’s digital experience. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and successfully managing the organisation’s digital infrastructure, networking and security. It is a challenging role with significant potential for the right individual to positively influence change across the whole organisation.
Managed by the Head of Digital, you will work closely with the Applications Managers, Digital Trainer, Solutions Developer and the Digital Project Manager to ensure that our supporting infrastructure enable rather than restrict the delivery of the objectives within the Digital Strategy and wider Corporate Plan and delivery of core services to our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that our digital resilience and security is of the highest possible quality, and drive towards the successful implementation of new standards (like Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001) that provide external assurance of success.
There are lots of opportunities within the role to deliver and support new innovations and ways of working, and the role will have autonomy to both select and drive forward both the underlying strategy and delivery of concrete outcomes for the organisation.

Cobalt’s standard working week is 35 hours Monday to Friday. At Cobalt we work in an agile manner and you can expect to work both at home and in the office based on business needs and our commitment to enabling staff to work flexibly. However, as the team you will be a part of are new and responsible for a significant programme of digital transformation across the organisation and beyond we expect both current and new team members to be in the office for a few days a week in order to play their part in driving this change, acting as a face of our new digital strategy and helping build a collaborative, engaging team culture.
