Job Description

Job title:               Communications Manager

Salary:                   £43,000 per annum

Location:              L11 2SF

We have an opportunity for a talented Communications Manager to develop and deliver Cobalt’s approach to corporate communications, internally and externally including media and public relations, content marketing, event and campaigns management,  website(s) and intranet content management, social media strategy, digital strategy, email marketing, multi-media production, copywriting and supplier management.

You will manage the Communications Team and external agencies to deliver a diverse and engaging programme of work covering multi-channels and audiences. Working closely with the Executive and Leadership Team, you will craft and facilitate messaging internally and externally, utilising a range of communication tools

You will lead as the brand champion, positively drive the reputation and profile of Cobalt Housing and engage with local and housing sector press. This includes setting standards across partners for example on vehicle livery and how we work with suppliers to positively promote the brand.  You will have responsibility for all website and social media platforms. Optimising the use of digital channels to educate and engage audiences on the services delivered by Cobalt Housing.

Cobalt’s standard working week is 35 hours Monday to Friday. Candidates are likely to live within commutable distance of Liverpool. We do have an agile working culture, although we anticipate that that our managers will want to be present with their teams each week. For this role, being visible is key to gaining trust and establishing those important relationships right across the organisation.
