Job Summary

You will work closely with our housing customers to understand their systems integration requirements and then use the latest integration tools to design and build robust, self-monitoring solutions. As a senior member of the Implementation team you will take a lead role, assigning work to other members of the team, assisting them as required.

You will use our Microsoft Azure cloud hosted integration framework to build integration solutions for our business partners as well as bespoke solutions for our customers.  Our customer solutions cover every aspect of housing; repairs, IoT, AI, income, compliance, scheduling, mobile working, CRM etc. We integrate with everything, currently supporting and managing integration with every housing management system.

You will use tools such as Postman, SOAPUI and SQL server to investigate and test new and innovative ways of integrating systems for our customers. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of REST and SOAP web services as well as many other technologies that we use to integrate systems every day.

This is an exciting and varied role, ideal for someone who wants to take their knowledge of systems integration to the next level while helping housing organisations realise efficiency savings through self-service and automation.

Our implementers work from home but collaborate throughout the day with regular Teams calls, so you will have the convenience of working from home, while receiving the support associated with working as part of an office-based team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Working closely with customers to accurately capture their integration requirements
• Carrying out research and technical investigation eg. testing 3rd party web services
• Designing the best integration solutions for our customers
• Building new integration solutions in the Cloud and on-premise
• Managing and assisting other members of the team
• Using Azure integration tools and the Universal Adapter integration software

Key Skills and Experience

You will have a friendly personality and enjoy helping people. This will be coupled with good technical skills and an understanding of the IT systems used in Housing. You will be self-motivated enjoying the satisfaction of seeing your solutions being used successfully by our customers, business partners and members of the public.

You will have worked in an IT support or implementation role, preferably in housing. Your experience will include one or more of the following:

• Integrating IT systems
• Writing basic scripts in something like Python or JavaScript 
• Using web services
• Writing SQL queries 
• Implementing or supporting Housing software solutions 
• Installing software 
• Business/systems analysis 
• Project management
