We have an opening within our Business Improvement Team in Portsmouth for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with at least 2 years’ experience in a Senior Business Analyst role. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office-based to promote collaboration and team working.

Here’s the facts about the role: 

 

As Senior Business Analyst, you’ll manage the drive for continuous improvement to processes and systems across the business, supporting change delivery and acting as the link between the business and delivery teams. 

 

You’ll help develop our business analysis practice and method while acting as a fountain of knowledge to the team, as well as helping steer the direction of VIVID’s application solutions ensuring they can continually meet our evolving requirements.  

 

As Senior Business Analyst, you’ll have experience leading/mentoring a team of Business Analyst on larger programmes/projects. Ideally, you’ll have a detailed understanding of Project Management methods, such as Agile and Waterfall, as well as tools/controls used such as Gantt charts, risks and issues logs, and business cases help Projects/Change Requests to be delivered successfully. 

  

You’ll champion our values, promote achieving excellence and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation by challenge existing practises, suggesting better ways of working, supporting change delivery and acting as the link between the business and delivery teams to get things done. 

 

You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience in a Senior Business Analyst role with a relevant qualification in Business Analysis techniques ideally with a Project Management accreditation. It is essential you have experience in Business Analytics and Project Management, particularly within a change environment. And importantly, you’ll have the passion to be an ambassador for leading and promoting change!
