Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £48,000 with some flexibility for right candidate
Location: L11 2SF (Hybrid)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data and Insights Manager to join our friendly, inclusive and innovative team. At Cobalt we are making a significant, multi-year investment in our digital platforms to ensure that our systems and digital architecture enable us to deliver our ambitious Corporate Plan and Digital Strategy. As part of this process, we will be undertaking a significant programme of data migration from legacy to new cloud-based systems and developing a new data warehouse amongst a range of other exciting changes across the Microsoft suite of products (Power BI, Purview, Fabric and beyond).

Main responsibilities
The Data and Insights Manager is a key member of the Digital and Transformation Leadership team and will be responsible for driving the technical capabilities and customer focus of the BI team in order that they can provide not just data but insight to the whole organisation. The position is both a technical and leadership role; you will be expected to undertake key BI tasks yourself, as well as managing the BI Analyst and Data Engineer, liaising with the wider Digital and Transformation Team and ensuring that the team deliver on the requirements of the business and wider stakeholder expectations.
You will also be responsible for keeping up to date with developments in the changing technologies, threats and opportunities across their area of responsibility and for making recommendations where appropriate to the Digital and Transformation, Operations and Executive Management Teams.
