Code Red Associates (CRA) is a leading supplier of Permanent & Contract ICT resource to a variety of Blue Chip, SME & growing organisations throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for a customer focussed Technical Support Analyst with in-depth proven Hyper V & SQL server experience for a forward thinking & evolving organisation. They are specifically looking for a personable and enthusiastic individual, who is committed to customer satisfaction and who has the determination and resolve to own and resolve issues before moving on to the next.

The purpose of the role will be to provide a high quality, professional and responsive 2nd/ 3nd line infrastructure support service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnostics and resolution of infrastructure wide issues as well as designing, developing, maintaining, configuring and monitoring a variety of applications, carry out systems upgrades, procurement and installation of hardware and software products and comms link.

Essential experience:
•    Commercial experience of system enhancements
•    Commercial experience working within a busy, medium sized team
•    Commercial experience of hardware/software procurement installation
•    Hyper V
•    Windows 10, SQL 2008 Server & 2012 Server
•    DNS, DHCP, AD
•    MS Exchange
•    Networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLAN, DMZ)
•    Migration to Office 365

•    Powershell scripting
•    Cisco IOS
•    VMware / Horizon View
•    Firewalls
•    Sophos Anti-Virus
