Systems/Application Analyst
Nottinghamshire – Hybrid
£45,000 - £48,000

Code Red Associates is working with a well known housing association who are looking to add a Systems/Application Analyst to their team. You will be responsible for the development, configuration, and functional analysis of various products.

Overall responsibilities:

  • To become subject matter experts for the applications within my clients estate
  • You will be expected to support testing, incident management, problem management and run/coordinate small scale projects and deliverables across the applications suite service to all customers.
  • Help align technology within the business to help support my clients vision and strategic ambitions
  • Undertake regular application reviews to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and easily supportable
  • Develop expertise in key business areas and ensure technology fits their needs
  • Provide technical expertise to the business on new initiatives and projects
  • Contribute and adhere to robust processes to make sure the transition of initiatives from project to BAU support is both effective and sustainable
  • Manage BAU enhancements and small projects
  • Be part of bigger projects, providing SME and provide support with implementation, testing and integration
  • Provide expert 2nd and 3rd line support to the Service desk responding to tickets in accordance with agreed SLA’s to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded

Skills:

  • Demonstrable track record of providing second/third line support for applications in a similar environment
  • Experience of system configuration, trouble-shooting and fault-diagnosis
  • Experience of working with third-party suppliers and internal teams
  • Good working knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management
  • As a minimum, a working knowledge of information security polices, processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of SQL including writing scripts to query and update databases
