We require a Cx Training Consultant to be responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of training on the Civica Housing Cx software to Civica’s customer base both during implementation and on an ongoing basis to existing customers. This role is pivotal in the design and creation of an ongoing training model, based on modern eLearning tools, to deliver an effective and valued training service to Civica customers.
Deliver classroom style software training to users at customer sites as part of software implementation projects.
Deliver training to customers on an ongoing basis from Civica offices.
Prepare all necessary training agendas, manuals, workbooks, videos and other supporting information.
Prepare full training documentation to a high standard e.g. course agendas, training guides and workbooks.
Identify and prepare example scenarios and supporting data to facilitate training.
Assess relevant training needs for customers and staff, in consultation with the Cx Project Manager, including assessment methods and measurement systems.
Produce strategy and plans to meet the delivery of training needs, and manage training delivery, measurement, feedback and follow-up as necessary.
Design innovative training courses and supporting material using all available media, necessary to meet customer and staff training needs.
Proactively engage with customers to identify training needs and sales opportunities.
Identify measurements and methods for ensuring that training is delivered successfully and receives positive feedback from customers.
Organise training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training delivery.
Set out plans for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
Design and maintain databases required for training purposes.
Deliver product demonstrations as required as part of project kick off, or during the tender process.
Research and share with the Cx team knowledge of competitor training and products available.
Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws.
Undertake continued training and professional development so as to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Cx product set and its target marketplace.
Proven experience in a training role delivering end user training to customers utilising a mix of available technologies and media.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; excellent presentation skills and audience engagement.
Experience of presenting, demonstration and explanation, effectively presenting themselves, the product and Civica.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Knowledge of software products and solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and maintain collaborative working relationships and the sharing of good practice.
Ability to inform and persuade others; excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage expectations and control change in an IT projects environment.
Positive, proactive and self-motivated.
Quick learner and keen to develop own knowledgebase.
Flexible with good time management skills; willing to work away from home and work anti-social hours when required.
Self-motivated with ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Full UK Driving license
Proven experience in a training role delivering a variety of courses on a variety of software packages.
Knowledge and experience of setting up and delivering training online via Skype or Webex.
Good knowledge of housing organisations and the social housing sector.
Experience of creating professional documents for internal/external use.
