We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Llanw Team.
The overall purpose of the role is to assist the Commercial Manager in providing general Quantity Surveying duties thereby assisting Llanw to maintain and improve the homes and estates of Valleys to Coast Housing Group to the highest standards.
The job holder will assist with monitoring and reporting on expenditure in order to control costs and ensure budgets are not exceeded. They will work in partnership with their colleagues to ensure the consistent delivery of projects on time and to agreed budgets.
As part of the role you will assist with the preparation of monthly reports, cost and value reconciliations and work closely with the operations team and provide commercial advice. The role will also include the preparation of enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers inviting them to quote as required and then to analyse these quotes and make recommendations.
