It's exciting times at LHP and we are growing our Data team, we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join us on a 12- month fixed term contract with an excellent salary of £35,997  plus some fantastic benefits

As a Data Analyst you will be required to drive and improve the quality and use of data across the Business to achieve measurable service excellence for our customers and be compliant to regulatory standards.

We would ideally like a candidate who has experience in using Data Governance/Quality tools, like IntoZetta, although this is not essential as full training will be given 

The role is defined as being flexible under our agile working policy, therefore you will be able to work from wherever is suitable to complete the task at hand. This might be in one of our homes, schemes or estates, at home, in one of our offices located in Boston, Grimsby or another location or somewhere else!

What will I be asked to do as a Data Analyst?

  1. Proactively collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders to understanding Data Quality problems, inadequacies and advising on best use of data for optimum business decisions.

  2. Responsible for identifying and improving the consistency of data capture in core business systems with colleagues using the systems available.

  3. Responsible for improving the confidence in our own data reporting capability for the Business Insight Team.

  4. Drive business adoption of Data Quality controls in alignment with an agreed Data Management Framework and guided by the Data Manager.

  5. Support in developing future focused Data Quality activities to prevent rather than cure data quality issues. Joining up data processing activities across different departments to address gaps, pain-points and recommend actions in data journeys that cause business performance issues.

  6. Responsible for analysing business processes, workflows, cleansing plans and driving forward data quality activities across the organisation. Creating regular stakeholder performance reports and presentations as required.

  7. Promote and support the delivery of Data Literacy training across the organisation.

  8. Responsible for engaging with business stakeholders to document data requirements whilst managing them centrally to avoid maintaining desperate Microsoft Excel based registers and trackers.

 

What skills, attributes and experience will I need as a Data Analyst?

  • We’re looking first and foremost for someone who shares and demonstrates our values – they are the foundation for everything we do.

  • You will have bags of enthusiasm and a real passion for understanding how an organisation works and gets things done through its people.

  • Extensive experience shaping data quality standards to improve business performance metrics and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience in good data quality support in a large organisation. 

  • Experience in data quality issue management in Social Housing Sector, including defining how this should work, implementing the right processes across the business and using it to drive value adding improvements.

  • Experience presenting and communicating with senior business stakeholders and work colleagues.

  • Excellent project delivery skills through people empowerment. 

  • Extensive data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel to interpret business data requirements. 

  • Be able to persuade and influence senior decision makers.

  • Be able to plan, run, and extract the right information from requirement workshops with people.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining a data dictionary.

  • Experience in data discovery, data analysis, data profiling techniques and procedures.   

  • Experience in a similar role supporting users over a multi-site environment.

What qualifications will I need as a Business Analyst?

·       Business Analysis Foundation or equivalent
