Manifest Software Solutions is the leading independent provider of systems integration solutions in Social Housing. We work closely with our customers, providing integration software, technical consultancy, and fully managed support.

Our expertise lies in finding the best ways to integrate systems using the latest tools, including Microsoft Azure integration tools and our own Universal Adapter scripted integration toolkit. This combination allows us to seamlessly integrate any Cloud-based or on-premise application for our customers.

We integrate with all the main Housing systems, asset systems, finance applications, mobile platforms, scheduling solutions, contractor systems, document management solutions, self-service portals, IoT, AI and much more.

Due to our success, we are looking to significantly grow our team over the next few months and are looking for people to join us to help design and build innovative solutions for social housing.

Job Summary

We are looking for a team leader to head up and help grow our software development team. This team is at the heart of everything we do as we continually develop new functionality for our own amazing integration platform. We are now embarking on new projects, including web and AI applications, with plans to start mobile application development in the new year.

As a Microsoft Partner, we develop solutions using Microsoft applications and technology (Visual Studio, DevOps, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server, Azure). Mobile application development will be something new; you will help us evaluate and select a mobile development framework.

This role will suit an experienced developer or team leader who wants freedom to work across multiple platforms, developing innovative applications that make a real difference to people’s lives.

You will be a key person in the business, regularly attending senior management meetings to help guide and influence our strategy.

Our staff all work from home but collaborate throughout the day on projects and hold regular team calls. This offers the convenience of working from home while providing the benefits of working for an office-based team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investigating, scoping, and designing new software solutions
  • Building new software applications (including web and mobile)
  • Creating and using Azure services such as SQL databases, AI services, IaaS, Integration and IoT
  • Ensuring adherence to the latest security principles and best practice guidelines
  • Working with colleagues in other teams, helping them make best use of our software
  • Working with senior managers to plan future products and services

Skills and Experience

  • Essential skills:
    • Experience programming in C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript
    • Experience with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio and DevOps/Git
    • Azure fundamentals and experience creating Azure services
    • SQL databases and SQL queries
    • Business/systems analysis, solution design
    • Security principles
