We are currently recruiting for a People Partner.

The overall purpose of the People Partner role is to deliver a professional and business-focused HR service to designated directorates within Valleys to Coast. As part of a proactive and innovative People Team, you will provide pragmatic and creative HR solutions, build strong relationships across the organisation, and support the delivery of our People Strategy and Corporate Business Plan.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a high-quality HR service, has strong knowledge of employment law and best practice, and can communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way. You should be confident in providing expert advice on a range of people matters and building strong, collaborative relationships with leaders, managers, and colleagues at all levels.

As part of the role you will support the People Operations Manager and Organisational Development Manager with key people projects and initiatives, ensuring that our approach to people management is aligned with best practice and supports our strategic objectives.

You will be required to act as the first point of contact for colleague relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases, providing appropriate advice and guidance and escalating complex cases to Senior People Partners where necessary.

You will need to be Associate CIPD qualified or have a willingness to complete the CIPD Level 5 qualification within three years of appointment.

To be successful in this role you will need a detailed understanding of employment law, current HR best practice, and its application in a business setting.
