Your key purpose will be to manage and extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data and build great working relationships with managers to: develop strategic dashboards to give them real time information; understand their reporting needs; collect their requirements and then design and build business intelligence and reporting solutions; provide systems that enable them to be as streamlined as possible; and provide actional insights to help them improve.

Reasons why you should apply for this role:

  • you are innovative, creative, curious and agile, able to develop and champion new ideas, spot opportunities and learn fast along the way
  • have the opportunity to work with databases, both relational and multidimensional
  • apply data science to optimise processes and improve functions across the business
  • be able to use business intelligence development tools such as Qlik (preferred), Tableau or Microsoft Power B1.
  • have the opportunity to design, develop and support new and existing data warehouses, dashboards and analytical reports.
  • you want to make a difference and achieve high levels of job satisfaction
  • we can offer you: 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, health care benefits and pension options, with excellent employer pension contributions of 6-12%

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • have great interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • ask the right questions, manipulate data sets, and create visualizations to communicate results
  • have real experience using Qlik, Tableau or Microsoft Power B1
  • have great SQL development skills to integrate data from different resources
  • have design experience of interpreting outputs of models and building visualisations to depict your interpretations
  • use your skills and knowledge to analyse large amounts of data in many forms and communicate insights to stakeholders.

It’s people, not properties which make us special. Join us and you’ll be part of an exceptionally friendly and welcoming team who work hard so that together we can make a positive difference.

Closing date for applications: Monday 27 May 2019            Interview: Friday 7 June 2019
