Job purpose: To take a technical lead role in the software development activities for the development and maintenance of internally and externally facing digital solutions for the Trust.
Make a significant contribution to the architecture and design of digital solutions.
Build, test and deploy high quality technology solutions that meet defined needs within agreed timescales.
Liaise with product owners and customers to ensure expressed needs are reflected in solution features.
Create technical specifications for robust, scalable and extensible solutions.
Carry out code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Lead the establishment and ongoing development of the Digital Solutions Teams DevOps environment and processes for solution development, testing and deployment.
Provide insights into current and emerging technological developments that could improve the solutions we deliver or the way we deliver them.
Actively participate the ongoing improvement of the Digital Solutions Team agile approach to solution development.
Provide 3rd line support for built delivered solutions.
Mentor less experienced members of the digital solutions team in enterprise class software development principles and practices.
To deliver all work in line with the Trusts GDPR, H&S, Financial and People policy’s and procedures.
