What’s the role?
Valleys to Coast are embarking on a period of significant digital transformation and if you are successful in the role you will play a key part in helping us shape and build the communications channels at the heart of that.
In the six months of this contract you will be working alongside the Head of Communications and the Communications Champion to develop a new Google-suite enabled intranet that plays a key role in the creation of a digital workplace for colleagues. On this project you will be helping conduct research with colleagues to build a product that brings us closer together as an organisation and helps us create a culture where we can collaborate, connect and communicate in a way that gets the best out of our talented staff.
You will also help us in the research and building of a new, on-brand, customer focussed website that increases online engagement and reduces pressure on our more traditional customer channels such as our contact centre. As well as supporting us with the day-to-day communications work of this bustling housing association.
This is an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to work on some really exciting projects and pick up new skills and experience along the way.

What will I have to do?
Work alongside the Head of Communications and the Communications Champion to develop a new Google-suite enabled intranet that plays a key role in the creation of a digital workplace for colleagues
Assist in the research and building of a new, on-brand, customer focussed website that increases online engagement and reduces pressure on our more traditional customer channels
Look at new and engaging ways to communicate, including blogs, video, graphic design and podcasts.
Pro-actively manage the transition of our online presence both internally and externally through our website, Intranet and Yammer and prepare both colleagues and customers for changes to how these work
Work with us to develop how we communicate on our social media channels, supporting engagement campaigns and communicating up to date news.
Assist us on the communications of promotional and research campaigns and assist to deliver key messages, thinking of new ways to communicate that are innovative and engaging.
Coordinate content for print, working on design to ensure the brand identity is reflected.
