We are now looking for a Helpline Technician to play a crucial role in helping us transform lives and revitalise neighbourhoods on a fixed term basis until March 2022.
As a trusted member of the team, you’ll deliver a high quality, cost effective 24-hour monitoring service based within the Helpline Service in the Customer Service Centre in Speke, Liverpool.
The role involves maintaining and servicing all dispersed telecare equipment to older, disabled and vulnerable people in their own homes to enable them to continue to live independently and safely at home. You will complete risk assessments (including Home Fire Risk Assessment), support plans and customer information forms for customers.
Regular tasks include ensuring that there is appropriate stock in order to keep up with the demands of the business, undertaking monthly equipment test management and programming and reporting any issues where required. You’ll produce and maintain a cyclical battery replacement program for all dispersed equipment, ensuring that all batteries are checked on service visits and changed when required.
