Job Description

Lioness Recruitment – Careers handled with care. A respected public sector organisation are looking for an experienced Finance Professional to provide all aspects of financial support up to Executive level. This role requires somebody who is fully qualified with experience of management accounts. It is home based but will require occasional visits to offices in the East Midlands.

Your main responsibility will be to support management teams and cost centre managers in all aspects of financial performance reporting and decision making. This will include finance reporting, forecasting & budgeting, month end processing and financial analysis. You will also ensure continuous improvement and provide value for money.

Essential experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or similar Finance qualification
  • A proven background in Business Partnering and the preparation of Management Accounts
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to prepare, control and manage budgets
  • Demonstrable knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Understanding of relevant legislation or regulations to ensure accounting and reporting are compliant
  • Detailed knowledge of the principles of continuous improvement


  • Experience of working for a facilities management, construction, housing or lettings company
