My client is looking for an Infrastructure Manager who will lead the day to day technology infrastructure support, operations and services, including virtual infrastructure, servers, storage, backups, VDI, networks across multiple offices, datacentres, and Cloud locations. Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure hardware, software and services, in conjunction with other IT Teams. Contribute to projects and ongoing infrastructure change management, maintenance, continuous improvements and governance processes.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on management and ownership of technology infrastructure operations and services
• Instil operational excellence, through effective processes and service management
• Proactively manage the ServiceNow support, change, incident and problem management queues, produce reports on operations, services and major incidents
• Manage Active Directory service operations and support
• 10+ years of complex LAN, WAN infrastructure and data centre operations management
• Experience of managing and coaching teams
• Excellent demand management, planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
• 5+ years of project management and delivery
• MS Office 365 and Active Directory infrastructure operations
• VMware virtual infrastructures and networking – switches, LAN, WAN
• Veeam Backup solutions, storage hardware, and system monitoring solutions
• Broad and in-depth technical knowledge across networking, security, Citrix, SQL, telephony systems, datacentres, and systems management technologies
• Change management processes
• Ability to undertake out of hours’ work, during the evenings and at weekends.
• VMware, Cisco, Microsoft Windows Server 2016/19 certifications
• Experience of ITIL environments and processes, preferably using ServiceNow
