We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data and Performance Architect to help transform and shape our use of data to achieve our strategic goals
The role and team
You will lead on the technical design of the data and analysis landscape at Yorkshire Housing and work closely with stakeholders across the business to help define our future data / ICT roadmap. You will be a data expert, who has experience in data science and data modelling tools and methods, data warehousing, data management systems, as well as BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
You will be joining a passionate and growing data team and will work in collaboration with a Senior BI developer, a Data Quality & Governance Specialist and a team of Data & Performance Analysts and BI Developers. You will be key in helping to create an insight based culture within our organisation..
What will I be doing
A lead data role at Yorkshire Housing in ICT, you will be responsible for:
Leading the technical design and analysis landscape at Yorkshire Housing.
Leading the creation of and documentation of all data flows within the organisation
Defining data quality management frameworks, processes, principles and?ensuring these meet the required standards for data integrity and regulatory requirements.
Defining our architectural principles and guidelines for data management and governance with a strong focus on delivery of high quality data we can trust
Leading on the creation of a clearly defined strategy and implementation of the tools and technologies required for delivering high quality BI data solutions
Working closely with key stakeholders to design the frameworks required for real time analytics, IOT, automated reporting / dashboards
Supporting the organisation on its move towards a cloud based system using technologies such as Microsoft Azure SQL, ADF, Dynamics, Data Export Services, Power BI
What are we looking for?
You will be a technical expert with experience of designing data systems including data warehousing along with the production, analysis and coordination of complex information sets. You will also have experience using Power BI or similar and be comfortable writing reports and summaries for managers or the Board.
You will have worked operationally and strategically with strong stakeholder skills and ability to deal with third parties.

This is a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) role. In line with our Hub, Home and Roam model, this role will be mainly home-based but need the ability to commute to Yorkshire on occasions post-covid (Likely to be 1-2 times a month).
