 We are searching for an new team member to continue the transformation journey of the Finance Team and the wider business as a whole. This is a new role joining a team of 8 people in total reporting directly to the UK CFO. The role is based at our Kenilworth office, although clearly will initially be remote working.

You will be responsible for supporting the CFO in developing robust business cases for all of the commercial operations of the business - as well as the ongoing financial governance around them, helping implement transformational software enhancements to the finance and back office functions, and driving improvements in reporting and KPI management.

The role holder will already have gained significant experience of working in a fast paced finance team and will know what good looks like. This will enable the individual to help the team develop and improve and become the reliable and enabling function that a true finance team should be.

Salary: Up to £42K

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the financial inputs for all key business cases in support of the growth in both the ERP and Digital business

  • To provide reporting and regular financial oversight and control over the progress of each of these business cases, including     alignment with SAP reporting and tracking of resource cost

  • Provide financial support for tenders/bids, margin calculation and significant pricing developments

  • Financial support and analysis to all parts of the business including Group on an ad hoc basis

  • Interpret and communicate financial data with non-financial managers

  • Develop, communicate and monitor KPI's and create new reports that will enable senior management to make key decisions

  • Assistance with preparation of annual budgets/forecasting

  • Ad-hoc Reporting

Technical Skills

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA with a strong grounding in Finance

  • Advanced IT skills, particularly SAP

  • Previous experience of working with commercial operations on investment requests

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in commercial finance operations

  • Experience within software industry advantageous

  • Previous experience of SAP, Power BI, VBA, SQL, Microsoft Excel – macro level would be highly advantageous
