Data Protection Officer
The DPO will be the principal point of contact for regulatory support and guidance, including recommendations on policy and strategy, for all areas of the business and to manage the day-to-day relationship with the Information Commissioner’s Office. To design, implement and maintain a framework for managing data protection risk including responding to changes in legislation, provide appropriate advice and guidance to the business to ensure the regulatory risk implications of new initiatives and projects are properly identified, recorded and addressed devising and owning policies and training. To be the senior expert in data protection and be a leader for change across the whole organisation in terms of culture and behaviours relating to data protection. To be an ambassador externally when representing the organisation in GDPR related work.
