A large not for profit organisation are looking to add an ICT Security Manager to their team to be the designated responsible for all cyber and physical ICT security for the business. This role is offered on a flexible home and office working arrangement, with the main offices being based in the West Midlands.

You will be responsible for all ICT security for the business. You will be required to ensure that the organisation maintains strong security protocol in line with security legislation & trends, manage security change within the business, maintain access, tracking and physical assets and ensure solid stock control procedures. You will be required to represent IT at steering groups and escalate serious security threats to Head of ICT & Board level and drive Cyber Security, Asset Management System, Helpdesk, Microsoft, Network and Service Management best practices for the business in relation to security issues.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working within a similar role within ICT Security, and ideally working for a large site
  • CISSP, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, Security+ or similar cyber security certification (or certification already underway)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management to C level
  • Ability to explain IT/technical reasoning to non-technical audiences
  • Experience implementing ICT security best standard practices across numerous business areas
  • Service Management certification – ideally ITIL V3 or above
  • Report writing
