Web Improvement Support Officer (.Net Developer)      Ref: F9104 £35,829 to £38,319 per annum (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting and Car Allowance) 37 hours per week Dacorum Borough Council is looking for a .Net Developer with experience of developing in Microsoft .NET Technologies such as C#, MVC, ASP.NET. We are transforming the way we work and technology is at the heart of this. In the last 2 years we’ve moved to a state of the art new office and worked hard to make our services digital by default, including the delivery of a portal for our residents built in-house. As a Web Improvement Support Officer you will play a key role, building web based systems both for our staff and for our residents. You’ll also support the wider work of this high performing Web Team as it delivers our Digital Strategy. As Web Improvement Support Officer, you would be responsible for: Working as part of our web development team to help the Council transform service delivery. Developing, implementing and improving online services using ASP.NET, Microsoft Internet Information Server, XML Web Services, and Microsoft SQL Server. Developing our ability to analyse and report on data in our systems. Collecting and analysing website/intranet usage statistics and using them to enable and implement continuous improvement. Providing guidance to members of staff on use of systems. Our driven social housing development team is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Business Development) to play a pivotal role in delivering against our ambitious target of developing 600 new homes per year. You will be at the forefront of developing and delivering our New Business development programme, focussing on building the pipeline of 3,000 completions by March 2024 as part of a dynamic team. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of the pre-contract stage of housing development, taking a proactive approach to securing new business – seeking, pursuing and securing new land and housing opportunities to meet the targets set out within our Housing Delivery Strategy. You’ll demonstrate excellent negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining integral professional relationships with key project contacts, including vendors and developers, whilst working closely with the Development Construction team to ensure a smooth handover. Given the ambitious nature of this role, we require a focused and passionate New Business Development professional who enjoys working in a very fast-paced, challenging but ultimately rewarding role and organisation. You should ideally possess a relevant housing or construction qualification, related to the housing association sector, or have equivalent experience of working in a development or property related role.
