About the role: Working closely with the Senior Management Team and Board of Directors, the Systems Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s SQL Server environment; the operational effectiveness and integrity of the company’s business intelligence and reporting; development of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); report writing; development of dashboards using Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS); and maintaining accurate stored procedures in both test and live environments.  You will be responsible for the management and security of the company’s network and server environment, ensuring the ICT function provides a customer focused service resulting in our customers receiving excellent services.  You will be responsible for reporting to the Board and servicing the Service Improvement Working Group (SIWG) in respect of the implementation, development and management of the ICT function; and regulatory compliance with all current and emerging ICT legislation. Who we're looking for: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to working; must enjoy a challenge and present themselves with enthusiasm and confidence at all times.  Systematic, meticulous and thorough in your approach, you will have excellent project management and planning skills and the energy and ambition to deliver, maintain and develop the company’s ICT function. You will hold relevant professional qualifications and be willing to pursue further study to develop within the role. In addition you will have a broad understanding in areas such as, telephony solutions, mobiles devices, data analytics, GDPR, IT hardware, Server management and SharePoint.  Candidates will be expected to be flexible in their approach to work, as you will be expected to attend Board and Committee meetings, usually held outside normal office hours. Candidates must be highly IT literate and proficient in MS Office packages.  A driving licence and use of your own vehicle is advantageous for site visits.
