We are one of the largest social landlords in Wales and have responsibility for over 9,000 properties across the Neath Port Talbot County Borough. We are committed to providing good quality housing and a range of services to help people manage their homes.

As a community housing mutual, we continually work to understand the needs of our customers and members to deliver services based on what matters.

Since we were formed in 2011 our main focus has been to deliver the promises set out to our customers, which included bringing our homes up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard. Having achieved this in 2017 we now focus on our future plans.

Our vision by 2020 is to continue to build upon the foundations set down during the first six years, our plans include delivering services which exceed customer expectations and investing in much needed homes.

We’re looking for an experienced people manager with a love for innovation, to join our Technology and Innovation Team. As part of this brand new role, you’ll be leading a team of analysts, who are responsible for business improvement, in-house software development and third party software implementation and support. Do you have experience in developing software? Or experience of implementing new software on a large scale? If so we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities What you’ll be doing: Leading a team of 8, mentoring and supporting the team to enable them to effectively perform their expected duties. Assisting with the design and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic plans to ensure the organisation maximises its investment in technology. Assisting in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure software-specific products and services. Leading the business improvement process for the delivery of all ICT led projects. Creating and developing operational business process models. Conducting research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Ensuring all our assets comply with relevant best practice and adopted industry standards, whilst delivering adequate service provision to meet the demands of the organisation. About you You’ll have strong technical Tier 3 knowledge of Microsoft Server, Virtualisation Technologies such as VmWare and Desktop operating systems.
