Manor Estates Housing Association

Manor Estates Housing Association was established in 1995 following the transfer of 950 houses in Edinburgh from Scottish Homes. Manor Estates is a charitable Housing Association which aims to provide good quality, affordable and sustainable housing and services to meet a wide range of housing needs. We seek to meet this aim by:

  • Providing a high quality management and maintenance service appropriate to our customers' needs
  • Making the most effective use of our housing stock
  • Support the development of communities in areas where we operate
  • Encouraging resident involvement in the development, management and maintenance of their homes and estates
  • Maintaining effective management and maintenance systems to enable the Association to meet its aims and objectives

The Association's housing stock is a mix of flats and houses located across the City of Edinburgh. We provide a range of house types from mainstream general needs to sheltered housing for the elderly and wheelchair standard housing for physically disabled people. The Association also provides a factoring service to over 1700 owner occupiers, most of whom have bought their houses under the Right to Buy.

The Association delivers customer services through its staff teams based at our office in Washington Lane (off Dalry Road). This includes the Corporate Services team responsible for all aspects of office administration and financial management.
